Radio Mechanic jobs in Louisville, KY
Radio Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs radio transmitting and receiving equipment. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Radio Mechanic has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Radio Mechanic works under immediate supervision. Supplemental commentary will be required when participating as an informed on-air source of content. They also participate in on-air membership drives.
Appear at fundraiser, station, and community events. Create promotional and interstitial content as needed or required. Be available for reports related to significant breaking news.
