We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engines. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in diesel engine repair.
New family owned shop opening to service our company's fleet of Semi Trucks! Be the first to start and lead a new team in our new shop! Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and industrial equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as fuel systems, transmissions, and brakes
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Fabricate, weld, and assemble parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Provide tire service as required
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
