Radio Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs radio transmitting and receiving equipment. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Radio Mechanic has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Radio Mechanic works under immediate supervision. Capital Quarries is seeking a mechanic who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of heavy/dirt equipment.
JOB DUTIES
- Work on various crushers
- Work on CAT and John Deere Loaders, Dump Trucks, Skid Steers
- Repair and maintain heavy/dirt equipment
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electrical skills for heavy equipment
- Must have a mechanical aptitude
- Field tech experience
- Able to lift tire mount tiers
- Able to remove and install transmissions
- Obtain a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screen
