Radiologic Technologist performs radiological imaging examinations of patients using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. Positions patient as needed to obtain optimal images and prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. Being a Radiologic Technologist develops exposed X-ray film, ensures proper film identification on all images, and creates x-ray CD copies. Files films, maintains medical records, and performs other related administrative duties. Additionally, Radiologic Technologist typically requires an associate degree in a related area. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The Radiologic Technologist works under moderate supervision. Just 4 Kids Urgent Care, a state of the art pediatric facility is currently seeking a part or full-time Radiologic Technologist. Rad Techs that join the J4K team will be responsible for performing various clinical duties including radiologic examinations of pediatric patients while creating a superior patient experience.
Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is open from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. seven days per week. Full-time staff work three 12-hour shifts in a week and part-time staff work two 12-hour shifts.
