HG Railroad Services is a railroad services contracting company based out of Opelika, Ala. A division of Hydro Green Erosion Control, HG is currently seeking applicants for the position of Laborer/Operator with our maintenance & track construction crews. We are an experienced team with a strong work ethic and take pride in completing our quality work on schedule to meet our customers' needs. No previous experience required but experienced applicants with railroad background preferred.

Responsibilities

• extensive travel, some overnight required.
• Perform duties and tasks assigned by track foreman
• Remove and replace ties and rails; pull and drive railroad spikes.
• Uses hand tools & operates heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to travel frequently, days at a time.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to pass railroad safety training.
• CDL a plus.
