Railroad Conductors and Yardmasters supervises and coordinates activities of switch-engine crew engaged in switching railroad cars within yard of railroad, industrial plant, or similar location to facilitate loading and unloading of trains. Required to complete specific trade school courses and possess necessary certifications. Being a Railroad Conductors and Yardmasters is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Works under general supervision. SummaryEMH&T is looking for an entry level Civil Engineer, EI to join our Industrial & Logistics (I&L) Division. I&L provides a unique civil engineering experience because they develop land site development spaces with a railroad component. You will be involved in land site development design projects where you will apply your engineering education to practical design solutions for stormwater, sanitary, roadway design, rail, and rail crossings and receive mentoring from seasoned Project Managers. Projects may include commercial sites, rail facilities, industrial sites, automotive dealerships, trucking facilities, lumber yards, medical campuses, and single family sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. FE and experience or proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other design/drafting software; previous co-op or internship is a plus.
