Railroad Worker throws track switches within yard of railroad, industrial plant, quarry, construction project, or similar location to switch cars for loading, unloading, making up, and breaking up of trains. May be required to complete specific trade school courses and possess necessary certifications. Being a Railroad Worker is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.   • This job is perfect for someone who is a self-starter and can work with little or no supervision. Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment as necessary. Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Primary Duties:

    • Maintenance and up keep of the Hansen’s IGA facilities and equipment.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electronics and carpentry.
    • Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment as necessary.
    • Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.

    Requirements:

    • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
    • Have a valid Driver’s License.
    • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
