Dixon’s Tree Service, LLC is a Veteran owned, small business with headquarters in Kingston, New Hampshire. We are looking to add a ground worker to our crew with growth opportunities to become a professional climber. You will work one on one with the owner to provide daily assistance with tree removal while he is in the tree. Pay is based on experience and can be reviewed quarterly.

Responsibilities:
-Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, Bobcat, and chipper
-Trimming tree branches and pruning trees. Moving debris into dump trailer
-Setup of job site, ropes and rigging for climber
-Assist in tree removals
-Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
-Shall help to maintain and keep track of all tools and/or equipment used in daily operation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tree maintenanance, trimming, cutting mandatory
-Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging devices used in tree pruning and removal operations
-Applicants must have a valid Driver's license, and be able to drive own vehicle to different job sites daily within an hour of Kingston, NH. Fuel re-imbursement negociable.
-Ability to drive truck with trailer/equipment a plus
- Knowledge of different plant species and their care requirements is a plus
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions, lift 50lbs or more (this is a year round job)
- Attention to detail to ensure the safety of all employees
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team
-Willingness to become future climber a plus
-Company Shirts/sweatshirts supplied. Safety equipment allowance. Having own chainsaws a huge plus
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
