Summary:
The Manager of Expense Management is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational and system tasks of the Accounts Payable/Expense team to ensure that all department priorities are met.
The Manager of Expense Management will be charged with standardizing processes, and automation of accounts payable, to continuously improve payment efficiency and support expense analysis and control.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of AP and Expense accounting clerks.
- Responsible for direct reports’ performance
- and development reviews, drive cultural and engagement initiatives and positive leadership across the team
- Identify and implement a robust P2P payment process – project management through execution
- Identify, promote, and support process optimization, standardization, and improvement to deliver cost-savings and efficiencies across the organization
- Review existing processes, structures, and systems with a focus on simplifying, standardizing, and automating them
- Drive best practices of AP processes and software development and usage to increase efficiency
- Establish expense workflow optimization and ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors
- Responsible for creating and achieving Group KPIs and driving activities and process improvements
- Month-end expense review and accrual
- Employee payment reconciliation and reimbursement
- Track the expense waste and support on expense saving projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of relevant experience managing accounts payable or related processes and systems
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role managing teams
- Strong workflow and project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to leverage systems and software to automate processes
- Excellent communication and analytical skills – a commitment to strong customer service to all
- stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel and Office software. Database and SAP experience preferred
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Compensation:
The pay range for this job is between $$75,000 and $110,000 per year. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
