Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning all-inclusive resort property in Highland, New York, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager. We are looking for a strong team leader who is organized, personable and meticulous. In our fast-paced environment, we need a self-starter with a positive attitude who is not afraid to take the initiative.

Responsibilities

• Completely own and understand the entire project management process, including but not limited to design, specifications, procurement, schedule, implementation, owner/client interface, and contracts; comfortable reviewing estimates, materials, and purchase orders
• Build, manage, and execute on project schedules; revise scope or schedule as necessary, and possess complete ownership of budget
• Coordinate internal and external resources and third party vendors to ensure that projects adhere to schedule and budget; coordinate all communication and timelines between vendors and the executive leadership team
• Proactively identify problem areas and present solutions as issues arise; assess and monitor risk and escalate as necessary, maintaining and encouraging an impeccable standard of safety
• Plan, budget, monitor and report on projects through the use of various project management methodologies and tools

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial construction management experience; professional certification such as PMP a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, managerial and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as supervise a team of 8-10 employees
• Comprehensive understanding of purchasing, cost control, financial projections, and budgeting is required
• Strong ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings, schematics, financial reports, and legal documents, such as contracts
• Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office and construction programs or applications
• Working knowledge of all phases of building mechanics including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and boiler systems a plus
• Schedule flexibility if/when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
