    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are looking for an experienced bar manager to join the team! As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our bar/lounge. Your responsibilities range from managing inventory, crafting innovative cocktail menus, to implementing marketing strategies and optimizing profitability. The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager with a passion for mixology, and an eye for detail.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and barbacks, including hiring, Training, and scheduling Bartenders and barbacks.
    • Oversee daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, inventory, and ordering.
    • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar area.
    • Handling all escalated customer complaints and concerns and resolving issues.
    • Able to work with commercial kitchen equipment and utilities.
    • Able to use repetitive hand and body motions such as grasping, standing, kneeling, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
    • Able to lift to 25-pounds or more with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects.
    • Able to walk, bend, stand and squat without assistance, including climbing stairs, ladders, stand to a significant degree, kneel, reach, bend, handle machinery, lift, feel, talk, hear, and see.
    • Able to work outside for duration of shift.


    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

    • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales.
    • Staying informed on liquor laws and regulations.
    • Set a high standard for customer service and hospitality for all customers and staff.
    • Curating and implementing drink menus.
    • Extensive knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, as well as proficiency in mixology techniques.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all staff members and management.
    • Manage budgets and track sales.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience as a bar manager, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
    • Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology and customer preferences.
    • Experience with equipment and maintenance, as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
    • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
