Position Overview:

Triple R Ranch is looking to hire an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the various upkeep of the facilities and equipment. Triple R Ranch is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the Gospel of Jesus in the community. The primary ministry is the summer camp program that offers both overnight and day camp options. During the non-summer months, Triple R Ranch hosts various overnight and day guest groups. There are 40 building and structures including permanent staff housing, 20 activity sites, 50 horses, and 380 acres of both developed and undeveloped land.

Primary Responsibilities:

General carpentry repairs to buildings and grounds as needed which may involve interior and exterior trim, windows, doors, caulking, structural repairs, painting, and roofing.

General plumbing repairs to toilets, sinks, swimming pool, and waterlines

General grounds work which may including mowing, weed eating, weed spraying, and contribute to overall appearance of grounds.

Required Skills:

Use carpentry equipment which includes miter saw, table saw, reciprocating saw, circular saw, and drill.

Use landscaping equipment which includes zero turn lawn mower, weed eater, chainsaw, tractor (with front load bucket), and backhoe.

Use general tools such as wrenches, hammers, plyers, etc.

Safely operate a ladder scaffolding and lift

Must have no prior criminal convictions (outlined in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a “barrier crime”

Must have no previous child abuse or neglect complaints

Must have a relationship with Jesus Christ and actively attend a church

Must agree with the Triple R Ranch statement of Faith
