Rate Analyst jobs in Grand Rapids, MI

Looking for a small 1 to 2 person crew to add to our sub list for property maintenance, this is a great job for folks who work for a few other contractors, and are looking for occasional smaller jobs throughout West Michigan. Less than 15 squares for most jobs. You will be asked about your experience and skillset.

Responsibilities:
- Install: drip edge, underlayment, ice and water, valleys, shingles, and siding on residential sites.
- Pay in square rate, and rough opening, with materials provided on all jobs.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific project requirements
- Remove old roofing or siding materials as needed
- Install insulation and house wraps as needed.
- Ensure product and job sites meet quality requirements.
- Respectfully work and collaborate with other contractors to complete projects on time.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment.
- Clean working area at end of each job.

Requirements:
- Experience in roofing and siding.
- Window experience a plus.
- 2 years experience as a sub in exteriors.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must communicate well, and arrive reliably.
- Own coil/stinger nailers, compressor if applicable.

Prefer:

- Inspect and diagnose roofs for damage and leaks, and perform necessary repairs
- Scaffolding, trim brake or ladders a plus .

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
