PA or NP, FOR QUEENS MEDICAL OFFICE SPECIALIZING IN NEPHROLOGY
Nephrology practice highly rated by patients and staff, conveniently located on Queens Blvd is seeking a PA or NP to see Chronic Kidney Disease patients (NOT on dialysis) at our office. Opportunity to work with Nephrologist trained at top institutions in the US and an inclusive, comfortable office environment. Opportunity to earn very high hourly rates will be offered to the right candidate. Must be available on 2 days out of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Can be combined with another position other days if desired.
Successful candidate must:
- Must be available on 2 days out of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
- Have at least 2 years experience in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine subspecialty
- Have an interest in providing comprehensive care to chronically ill patients arriving for office visits and to develop a good relationship with them
- Have the ability to independently manage basic issues arising during office visits such as blood pressure, diabetes, and prescription refills.
- Have good written and verbal English and communication skills are important. Medical Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to efficiently write notes in EMR.
- NYS active unrestricted license prior to start date is required.
This is an outpatient office position, no travel to other locations, no hospital rounding or “on call” is required. No nights, weekends, or variable rotating schedules.
No dialysis rounds and prior dialysis experience is not required for this position. Preference will not be given to those with dialysis experience.
