Rate Analyst monitors, reviews, and evaluates service rates and charges for various public utilities. Calculates cost-of-service and performs related rate analysis. Being a Rate Analyst ensures filings comply with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission requirements. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of business administration or related field. Additionally, Rate Analyst typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Rate Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     What Winning Looks Like:

    • Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
    • Interact daily with customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Sales Associates, and Managers.
    • Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to ensure customer loyalty.
    • Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
    • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer.
    • Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
    • Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
    • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
    • Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
    • Achieve targeted Customer Satisfaction Index
       


    Skills Needed to Win:

    • A strong desire to succeed.
    • Previous automotive diagnostic and repair experience a plus.
    • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
    • Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
