As a Benefit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit options to employees
- Assist employees with benefit inquiries and provide guidance on plan coverage and eligibility
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate and timely data collection for benefits administration
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Manage relationships with benefit vendors and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in benefit regulations and industry best practices
- Assist in the implementation of new benefit programs or changes to existing programs
- Provide support in the administration of FMLA and other leave programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Benefit Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Kronos, UKG, Salesforce, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, or Ceridian
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to employee benefits
