Revises rates as necessary and maintains records and appropriate filings. Being a Rating Specialist requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rating Specialist works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     The primary responsibility is to assist in the growth of the packaged gas business unit utilizing vendor managed inventory solutions.

    Accompany Sales Representatives on sales calls to evaluate the customer’s needs and educate on the various potential vending solutions.

    Perform customer site and data analysis to determine the best fit for the customer’s needs and objectives.

    Prepare and submit Cost Justification Worksheets for review and approval by senior leadership.

    Communicate with team on project timeframe, cost and installation plan.

    Manage 3rd party contractors, such as logistics and connectivity contractors to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and parts for install.

    Conduct customer and employee training sessions and provide follow up support.

    Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs and comfortable utilizing Personal Computers for set-up, troubleshooting and data analysis is a requirement.

    Overnight and air travel is a requirement.

    Position requires a self-starter, self-motivated individual capable of working independently to provide needed information to ensure success of team goals.
