We are looking for individuals who can bring their unique value to our team.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews New Business/Renewal applications, renewal instructions, and requests for policy changes to verify all pertinent information to produce accurate quotes, policies, and endorsements
- Obtain missing rating information by utilizing all resources provided (i.e. ISO fire rates & rules, Sage, internet, co-workers etc.)
- Perform calculations to produce accurate and timely quotes and premium charges by using carrier rating systems, and other rating sources provided by company
- Maintain rating manuals
- Review and implement carrier bulletins and release notes
- Manage own work assignments to meet the company's service standards and delivery metrics

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverages and rating principals
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possess excellent communication skills, be able to take direction from multiple sources (Underwriters, supervisors, and other senior positions) and handle multiple priorities
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision and frequently exercise initiative, independent judgment and problem solving skills
- Attention to details is critical for this position
WORK EXPERIENCE- 2-3 years of rating and/or commercial insurance experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS- Associate's, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
- Certificate in General Insurance (AINS – Intro, Ethics, INS21, INS22, INS23) or ability to obtain one within a year
