Dynamic Opportunity

As a part-time / PRN employee, working as needed per week, a Residence Specialist II provides assessment, planning, linking, monitoring and advocacy for clients assigned to supervised residences, referred from State psychiatric hospitals.

For more than 50 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness.

What does this position look like

A Residence Specialist II is responsible for participation in the development of individual comprehensive service plans.

Participation in individual service coordination activities. Communicating observations and information about the clients to the program coordinator, RN and treatment team.

Documenting observations, information and services provided to the client in progress notes. On-site services and support supervising, organizing and supporting recreational and / or socialization activities.

Participates in team meetings, including treatment planning. Supervises clients' self medication and documents according to policy.

Participates in the development of recovery plans for those clients residing in A group homes.

What you need to apply

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field

Knowledge of and experience with the chronic mentally ill adult population preferred

Valid automobile driver's license with MVR which meets Agency standards.

Shift(s) 4;00PM to 12 : 00AM, 12 : 00AM to 8 : 00AM, 8 : 00AM to 4 : 00PM(typically weekends only)
