Real Estate and Relocation Director directs and oversees a health care facility's real estate activities, including land/building acquisitions, leasing, and site location. Oversees the negotiation process for all transactions. Being a Real Estate and Relocation Director evaluates properties to ensure organizational needs are met. Requires a bachelor's degree. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective operation of all equipment and systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and installation projects
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing schematics, electrical knowledge, and HVAC expertise
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to repair or improve equipment performance
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to ensure availability when needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory levels
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices
