Receptionist jobs in Kansas City, MO
Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitor logs. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes. Being a Receptionist performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving and sending mail and packages. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Additionally, Receptionist may provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Receptionist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities

*Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner *Front office functions include patient relations, check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones *Filing and retrieving medical records *Process incoming referrals and contacting patient to schedule *Collecting co-pays and patient balances
Qualifications

*One-year experience as a medical receptionist preferred, but not required *Excellent customer service skills *Time-management and organizational skills *The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Schedule

*Monday through Thursday 7:45 am - 4:30 pm *Friday 7:45 am - 3:30 pm
