Receptionist greets visitors and maintains visitor logs. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes. Being a Receptionist performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving and sending mail and packages. Responds to internal and external inquiries. Additionally, Receptionist may provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Receptionist works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
- Receives, greet and attends to visitors.
- Maintains files.
- Prepares checks to be mailed.
- Maintains supply closet and ensures supply levels are low.
- Creates COM Data usage reports weekly.
- Prepares and codes Hi-Tech invoices weekly.
- Runs errands; including mail delivery and drop off and purchasing of office supplies.
- Other various duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Adaptability and Dependability.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
