 JOB SUMMARY FOR RECEPTIONIST

The Receptionist will perform various routine clerical tasks in support of the business office.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RECEPTIONIST

 ·         Provides general office support for the entire facility in support of administrative functions of all departments.

·         Establishes, develops, maintains, and updates the filing system for the administrative office and the facility. Retrieves information from files when needed.

·         Sorts and distributes mail.

·         Provides coverage for the front desk.

·         Assists the Administrator and other department heads with the daily operations of the entire facility. They may be assigned temporary or long-term assignments in various departments.

·         Answers the telephone in a prompt, professional manner.

·         Greets visitors promptly in a professional manner.

·         Assists with HR duties as assigned.

·         Responsible for scheduling the transportation of our residents. Ensuring there is communication between departments regarding resident's appointments and transportation needs.

·         Responsible for completing background checks for all residents within 24 hours of admission.

·         Ability to work independently.

·         All other duties as assigned by the Administrator and Business Office Manager
