Position Description
The purpose of this position is to serve as the initial point of contact for citizens conducting business with the Municipal Court. This is accomplished by assisting customers with the payment of fines, court appearances and other court related activities, preparing dockets, receiving and handling cash and assisting with trial preparations. Other duties include processing citations, providing support to the department, and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees. Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave

Court Records Clerk - Four years of high school or equivalency. One year of clerical or cashier including experience dealing with the public and customer service. Valid Texas Class C Drivers License; Type 45 words per minute corrected. Additional Information

Waco (/ˈweɪkoʊ/ WAY-koh) is a city in central Texas and is the county seat of McLennan County, Texas, United States. It is situated along the Brazos River and I-35, halfway between Dallas and Austin.
