Daily Responsibilities of a Bilingual Medical Records Clerk:- Submit Subpoenas records timely
- Obtain all hospital records and schedule hospital follow ups
- Discuss orders and answer any questions patient may have before leaving the office.
- Will greet & check in patients.
- Scheduling within an EMR
- Must be able to speak English and Spanish proficiently.
- Have at least 2-3 years in a medical office setting with medical terminology.
- Have customer service skills
- Have Electronic Medical Records Experience & Computer Savvy - ECW ( EHR ) experience is a plus
- Have experience in scheduling appointments in Intergy system or any computer system / Quick learner in computer system
- Have experience in eligibility and verifying insurance, schedule appointments & Diagnostic Testing
Hours for this position:- Clinic is open M-F 8am to 8pm. Will work 8am-5pm 4 days a week and 10am-8pm 1 day a week
