Records Manager develops and manages the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Manager evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Ensures that processes and policies that comply with all regulatory requirements for record retention are followed. Additionally, Records Manager designs and implements systems and processes to protect and secure critical records and information. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Records Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Records Clerk
Duties:
Review all incoming information for student records to ensure accuracy and completeness of each form.
Assist the Records Manager in scheduling sufficient arrivals to achieve and maintain contracted design capacity (On-Board Strength) through collaboration with OA (admissions).
Collaborate with counselors in returning UA (unauthorized absence) students back to Center. Ensure prompt documentation of UA retrieval efforts in CIS and student personnel files.
Maintain accountability for the input of students’ records and credentials in CIS in compliance with the PRH.
Assist in the development of daily morning reports are made available to all departments in a timely manner.
Prepare arrival pay sheets for students
Review student folders to ensure they contain necessary paperwork.
Prepare terminated folders
File Student information into permanent folder
Work with counselors and Student Personnel Officer on arranging student transportation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in administrative support, data entry, records management or related experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
Valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
