Records Manager develops and manages the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Manager evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Ensures that processes and policies that comply with all regulatory requirements for record retention are followed. Additionally, Records Manager designs and implements systems and processes to protect and secure critical records and information. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Records Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Basic Function: Serve as a member of the Student Records Office team as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance in the Records Office. Prepare all graduation correspondence and processing of applications. Responsible for processing transcripts, maintaining accurate student records, telephone calls, and other various student requests. Maintain Records Office hours from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. during the academic year. Otherwise, 7:45 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. on Fridays and during summer and academic breaks.

Qualifications: A minimum of one year of specialized post-secondary education or a minimum of one year of related work experience. Ability to work and organize assigned tasks efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption. Ability to perform diversified office clerical functions including keyboarding (50-60 wpm with accuracy), filing, and operating office equipment; fluency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Have efficient and cordial telephone/receptionist skills, as well as demonstrated ability to effectively and cooperatively work with people in a team effort and easily interact with a variety of people. Must maintain a high level of integrity due to the confidentiality of the work.
