Records Manager develops and manages the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Manager evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Ensures that processes and policies that comply with all regulatory requirements for record retention are followed. Additionally, Records Manager designs and implements systems and processes to protect and secure critical records and information. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Records Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. About the job:
The Medical Records Technician is to facilitate the maintenance of the participant’s medical record, through gathering and uploading medical records to the electronic medical record (EMR), fulfilling records requests, entering admissions/discharges, providing information to team members, tracking utilization of ER visits, hospital admissions and SNF/ALF admissions. Prioritizes, organizes and coordinates activities to facilitate smooth, efficient program operations. Manages and performs audits, clerical and non-nursing administrative tasks for the program when needed. Acts as a representative of the organization by demonstrating excellent customer service.
