Records Manager develops and manages the company records department and information management programs. Responsible for overseeing the storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all records. Being a Records Manager evaluates and recommends media formats and storage requirements to be used for records/information. Ensures that processes and policies that comply with all regulatory requirements for record retention are followed. Additionally, Records Manager designs and implements systems and processes to protect and secure critical records and information. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Records Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. What’s the Job/What Will You Do?
This position performs specialized records work involving processing various types of records in a multitude of formats, providing department access to records, managing new records, assisting in records disposal, reformatting records for preservation and executing defined procedures to ensure compliance with District policy and training departmental staff on proper upload of District records.
What We Offer
Hiring Range: $39,048 - $48,810 excellent pension/investment (10% District contribution) with the Utah State Retirement System & group health insurance (PEHP).
