The Records Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
