Brief Description of Work:
The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department is a dynamic team transforming the way needs are met and services are provided to our residents. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Center Coordinator in the Leonard Recreation Center. Under direction from the Center Supervisor this person will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the facility; to include the administrative operational and programming requirements of the facility. The Center Coordinator will serve as the front-line staff for the recreation center.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
The selected applicant must possess great communication skills to ensure the highest level of customer service, have knowledge of safe work practices, ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and have the ability to be trained in RecTrac (recreational software). The physical requirements of the job require the ability to perform the physical duties of this job, which includes lifting up to 50 lbs.
The Job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
