This positions coordinates Campus Recreation departmental marketing efforts to include publicity, promotion, advertising, and partnerships.
⦁ Monitors the preparation and distribution of social media posts, website updates, and promotional materials.
⦁ Ensures all materials adhere to appropriate university guidelines and standards by proofing and editing deliverables.
⦁ Maintains a current understanding and expertise related to emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in social media and communicates knowledge clearly to others.
⦁ Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student employees and graduate assistant(s).
⦁ Collaborates with University departments, organizations, and external groups to oversee departmental outreach through tabling and presentation opportunities.
⦁ Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external agencies to provide continued support of Campus Recreation programs through advertising partnerships.
⦁ Develops departmental advertising agreements and oversees submissions to contractual management.
⦁ Oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of designated departmental special events.
⦁ Coordinates with existing advertising partners and assists with recruiting additional partners for departmental special events.
⦁ Tracks position-related revenue, expenditures, and prepares monthly reports.
⦁ Facilitates market research and makes recommendations to the department.
⦁ Designs and implements marketing programs to support the expansion of recreational facilities, programs, and services.
⦁ Assists in establishing and implementing short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and procedures supporting both program and departmental success.
⦁ Represents Campus Recreation on various committees, boards and associations.
⦁ Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.
AND
Experience:
One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.
