Recreation Coordinator (Intramurals) plans and directs the student, faculty, and staff recreation program including intramural and club sports. May be responsible for managing the maintenance of some facilities. Being a Recreation Coordinator (Intramurals) requires a bachelor's degree in recreation or related area. This position supports the work of the Watertown Parks and Recreation Department to offer the community excellent recreational opportunities.
Essential Functions
Employee will:
1. Perform duties for the mosquito intern position include dipping, checking traps, counting mosquitoes for the city’s mosquito prevention program.
2. Complete duties that also include preparing mosquito spraying machines for city use during triggered events.
3. Work hours that vary but typically are 40 hours per week and dates of employment are from mid-April through mid-October.
