Recreational Therapist plans and directs medically approved therapeutic recreational programs for patients. Organizes activities according to patients' capabilities, needs, and interests. Being a Recreational Therapist conducts programs including symptom management, basic conversation skills, community re-entry, sports, gardening, dramatics, music, social activities, and arts and crafts. Prepares reports for patients' physicians describing individual patient symptoms and reactions to therapeutic programs. Additionally, Recreational Therapist conducts activity therapy assessment of a patient's strengths and needs, and recommends therapeutic activity. Documents progress on each patient. Phlebotomist (Full Time W2 Position)
The Traveling Therapist is a Mental Health Clinic which provides Therapy to populations from 6y.o to 100. We are looking for a Full Time Certified Phlebotomist to support our Psych Team. You will be working with patients ages 13 and up. The ideal candidate would be able to
1. Take vitals
2. Complete blood draws (must be certified in Phlebotomy)
3. Answer Client questions while they are scheduling upcoming appointments
4. Assist the Psychiatrist during scheduled visits
5. Assist with management of crisis calls as needed
6. Assist with note taking during session if needed
7. In addition you will be supporting the Front Desk during down time.
This position requires a BILINGUAL candidate (Spanish/English)
