JOB OVERVIEW:
The Fields Sports Complex (FSC) is seeking a qualified and experienced soccer trainer to work within the local community. The coaches will join a professional team of staff whose responsibilities will include delivering training sessions for local recreational and travel soccer programs. FSC Trainers must have a professional approach, be enthusiastic, energized, engaging, and be able to cater training sessions towards various age groups and ability levels ranging from 3-18 years old.

GENERAL ASSIGNMENTS:
You will be assigned work based on FSC needs and coaching availability during the year. Working hours will mainly be weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. We also run schools outs camps throughout the year which are daytime hours.
Recreational and Travel Team Training Spring (ages 3-18) – You will work with local community recreational and travel teams on weekday evenings for approximately 8 weeks. Depending on the contract and community club needs you may be required to provide game day management which will usually be on the weekend.
You may be required to deliver coaching clinics for volunteer coaches once or twice per season.
Trainings will currently take place in East Brunswick and Sayreville NJ
Summer Camp Coaching opportunities are available as well. Camp runs from the end of June to the end of August.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 1 year of coaching soccer with youth players at any level is preferred.
· Experience working with children between 3-18 years of age is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Clean Full Driver’s License and own car (please do not apply if you do not have a driver’s license/car).

EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM:
FSC will supply each coach with equipment and apparel for you to be able carry out your training role professionally. This will include soccer balls; discs/cones; pinnies/vests; equipment bag. Expected uniform will be shirts, shorts, socks, pants, jacket. Equipment and uniform is the property of FSC and you are responsible for taking care of it while it is in your possession, and returning it at the end of your contract with us.
