SUMMARY
The Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for Northern California recruitments. Duties include creating and managing postings, evaluating potential candidates, scheduling, and conducting screening interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to identify the best candidates for the company. This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting position so being organized, assertive, and systems-oriented is a must!
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create, manage, and update recruiting resources including online job boards, company website, and social media.
· Developing job descriptions
· Evaluate applicant’s resumes and/or applications for fit for positions
· Sourcing candidates by acquiring resumes from job search sites
· Schedule and conduct phone screens using an established script
· Determine appropriate candidates to forward to hiring managers and assist in scheduling in-person interviews
· Develop and/or maintain Excel tracking workbooks
· Coordinate recruiting questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
· Manage background and reference checks
· Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done in agreement with employment laws and regulations
· Assist with Onboarding, including helping new employees complete HR paperwork
· Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least one year of experience in a high-volume recruiting environment such as manufacturing, warehouse, or manual labor industries
· Intermediate Excel experience
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Knowledge of Interview techniques and applicant screening methods
· 55 WPM typing; previous transcription experience preferred but not required
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
· Highly professional and dependable
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) with the ability to read, write, and speak the language fluently preferred
