Develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May facilitate orientation for new employees and perform exit interviews for employees leaving the organization. May require a bachelor's degree in human resources. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Recruiter work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. The Onsite Recruiter represents CorTech by overseeing the day-to-day operations of CorTech’s associate workforce and business at our client site. The Onsite Recruiter is responsible for recruiting new temporary workers and maintaining current workers at the client site. The Onsite Recruiter must work with the hiring managers at our client to discuss the client’s needs and communicate with CorTech’s staff.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for overseeing the supervision of CorTech's associates in the client's distribution center
Orientation and safety training of the associates
Coaching and developing the associates
Attract employees who fit a job description and have the potential to become valuable additions to the company
Works with client/hiring managers to develop recruiting plans
Responsible for conducting new hire orientations, counseling/coaching temporary workers, and handling or escalating employee relations issues
Administer full onboarding and hire cycle
Responsible for communicating and enforcing CorTech policies around payroll, attendance, safety, and other employee programs
Provide first-class customer service to employees and clients
Efficiently completes all back office (payroll, operations) duties promptly
Job Requirements
High School Diploma and/or relevant work experience
Experience supervising in a warehouse or distribution center
Previous work experience in staffing/recruiting and human resources is preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines, i.e., a self-starter
Must be detail oriented.'
