Fairview Range is hiring a Recruiting Specialist to join our HR Department in Hibbing, MN.

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for a wide variety of HR and Talent Acquisition functions ranging from moderate to complex. This role is responsible for collaborating with Fairview leaders to create and implement plans for the recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of positions throughout their assigned areas. Consultation work will include process improvement projects, predictive hiring tactics, and other strategic/tactical initiatives crafted to support the Talent Acquisition function.

In addition to providing consultation to customers, the Recruiting Specialist, will manage all aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle including sourcing/marketing of positions, screening and evaluating applicants, coordinating and facilitating the selection process, preparing and administering salary quotes/offers, and ensuring the successful completion and start of the on-boarding process. Fairview Range utilizes iCIMS applicant tracking software to ensure data integrity as it flows into the HR/Payroll software.  Opportunity for workforce development by coordinating hiring events, visiting educational institutions, and other career events to establish Fairview Range as a partner in filling hard-to-fill positions.

Schedule: This position is working ONSITE, full time. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm; however, this position will require some flexibility for event travel and candidate sourcing.

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Leading recruitment activities for moderately visible and moderately difficult jobs within Fairview Range.
• Conducting strategy meetings with hiring managers to identify expectations, clarify processes, and provide regular updates.
• Serving as subject matter expert on recruitment trends, resources, processes, and tools.
• Providing ongoing, continuous evaluation for responsible areas and assuring accountability for financially solid and measurable results.
• Proactively communicating with stakeholders and site leadership to impact decision making and facilitate change.
• Answering applicant and manager questions promptly and provides ongoing support and education to all customers.
• Conducting tactical and strategic recruitment activities including sourcing, attending/coordinating job fairs, in-person interviews, and other moderate-touch activities.
• Developing and recommending job offer details to hiring managers, including experience ratings and research on internal equity.
• Ensuring that all employment forms/documented information are complete and accurate.
• Delivering and negotiating job offers or rejections to candidates.
• Communicating in a respectful manner.
• Ensuring a safe, secure environment.
• Completing all required learning relevant to the role.
• Complying with and maintaining knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Fostering a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field.
• In lieu of bachelor’s degree, 2 years recruitment experience within healthcare or related fields.
• 2 years recruitment experience.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Fluency in at least one applicant tracking system.

Preferred Qualifications

• MA-HRIR or MBA.
• Three years’ experience in healthcare in a multi-union, multi-site environment.
