Recruiting Director plans, develops, and directs processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Develops and enhances and organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Director executes a strategy to position the organization as a preferred employer. Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Additionally, Recruiting Director maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. Oversees the recruitment for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Recruiting Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Recruiting Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Position Mission Statement

    To demonstrate a servant’s heart to KFG by researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.


    Responsibilities and Tasks

    • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process, in collaboration with KFG Senior Leadership and HR Director
    • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
    • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
    • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
    • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
    • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborates with the hiring manager and HR Director during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
    • Sponsors Orientation Day for New Hires and all related tasks.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
    • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
    • Ensure all work is completed as up to date and proper updates are sent to the appropriate parties in a timely manner and properly noted in the appropriate records.
    • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
    • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.”
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative required.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, highly preferred.
    • Three to five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
    • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
