Recruiting Director plans, develops, and directs processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Develops and enhances and organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Director executes a strategy to position the organization as a preferred employer. Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Additionally, Recruiting Director maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. Oversees the recruitment for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Recruiting Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. This position assists with the daily activities associated with the compliance of on-campus recruiting program for football. The incumbent coordinates and manages compliance documents for on-campus recruiting visits, conducts player evaluations, makes recommendations to determine potential recruits, and analyzes player game footage.
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Coordinates and manages compliance documents for on-campus recruiting visits.
2. Conducts player evaluations via film review and makes recommendations.
3. Creates schedule of events for on-campus visits.
4. Maintains quality of handwritten campaign corresponde.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.
Substitution Statement: Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
