Recruiting Director plans, develops, and directs processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Develops and enhances and organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Director executes a strategy to position the organization as a preferred employer. Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Additionally, Recruiting Director maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. Oversees the recruitment for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Recruiting Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Recruiting Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruiting Specialist partners with store management and provides a high service level of recruitment support for their assigned region.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS :
Support Stores / Operations with all recruiting and hiring needs in Workday to include :
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Stores / Operations management
Posting jobs to external job boards
Utilizing recruitment communication technology
Reviewing applications
Conducting initial phone screens
Coordinating & scheduling in-person interviews
Moving the applicant through the Workday Recruiting processes
Providing guidance to hiring managers on Workday Hiring & Onboarding processes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Educational / Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in HR preferred
Experience with Workday Recruiting a plusRequired Technical Skills / Knowledge :
Competent with a range of systems and tools to perform basic functions including Google Suite and cloud-based HRIS systemsGeneral Knowledge and Abilities :
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to understand sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
Strong critical thinking, complex problem solving skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
