Oversees an organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities
Assist HR Team in policy formulation, hiring, recruiting and talent acquisition
Create adequate job descriptions and salary structures for new hires
Perform administrative duties
Partner closely with managers to understand critical skills; develop creative sourcing strategies and campaigns to target the ideal candidate profile
Obtaining requisite approvals from the department and corporate heads to open a job requisition
Source a diverse pool of passive candidates through multiple channels including our applicant tracking system, Indeed, LinkedIn, open web, social networks, and networking tactics
Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
Ensure smooth communication with applicants and timely resolution to their queries
Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
Must perform all functions with the highest level of consistency, compassion, and confidentiality
You will assist in creating and managing policies, processes, and documents for recruitment
Assist HR Team in the whole recruitment lifecycle (e.g., onboarding new hires and candidate sourcing)
You will ensure our HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or relevant field preferred, but not required
Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations, including but not limited to FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities
Ready to work every day
Candidate must have strong communication skills
1-2 years of previous experience as an HR professional
Previous experience in emergency work or industrial environment a plus, but not required
An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions
