The Recruiting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities for the Recruiting team. This position will bring experience driving results within a fast-paced, metrics driven environment while always looking for ways to improve overall productivity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a driver and non-driving recruiting strategy that will be the framework for achieving an annual hiring plan that emphasizes speed, quality and process efficiency.
• Lead the recruiting teams; by providing purpose and direction, empowering the team to do impactful work and achieve all staffing goals.
• Collaborate with other departments on workforce planning and talent needs that align with short- and long-term business goals.
• Partner with leadership team to build and execute on a data-driven talent acquisition organization; producing key performance metrics to improve on our speed, quality and diversity of hire within the organization.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to improve our candidate pipelines for current and future hiring demands via passive sourcing, social networking, viral branding, and the promotion of internal programs (i.e. referrals, internal mobility, etc.).
• Remain current on local job market trends.
• Act as the subject matter expert for employment recruitment law, as well as agency policy communication, application and interpretation.
• Ensure that compensation and referral programs are competitive, non-discriminatory, and appropriately administered.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor and employment laws, regulations, and agency policies and procedures as they relate to recruiting, including drug testing and background checks and employment verifications.
• Serve as escalation point for the Recruiting team.
• Perform activities in the recruitment life cycle, as needed, including high-demand periods.
• Document all recruiting processes and maintain documentation for business continuity.
• Perform other responsibilities as determined by business needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience: 5 years in a Recruiting Manager/supervisory role

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
