Recruiting Manager implements and manages processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Oversees an organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Manager evaluates and communicates key metrics to recommend appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Reviews and approves content and placement of advertisements and job postings. Additionally, Recruiting Manager secures appropriate resources for staff to be successful. Maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. May be responsible for the recruitment process for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Recruiting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Recruiting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Scope & Responsibilities
Work on multiple projects, meet schedules and budgetary requirements.
Perform complete bridge design of major and minor bridges.
Perform Bridge Load Ratings.
Must be able to manage and direct Jr. Engineers and CADD designers.
Must have a working knowledge of AASHTO requirements and preferably those of FDOT.
Effective communication with contractors regarding construction work.
Engage in business development, project pursuits, and preparation of proposals.
Position Qualifications & Experience
Strong technical skills and can show previous project application.
Be able to utilize sound engineering judgment and produce accurate calculations.
Minimum (10) ten years related experience.
Experience performing structural design of reinforced concrete, structural steel and prestressed concrete bridges.
Oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
Project management skills that will include client contact and relationship development.
Education/Registration Requirement
Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering w/ a structural emphasis.
Professional Engineer License in Florida or be able to attain.
