Due to ongoing growth, we are looking to bring on a talented Technical Project Manager at our location in East Lyme, CT.

The Position:

The Technical Project Manager will drive customer specific projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring technical solutions are sound and aligned to business goals. Responsibilities include:

• Hold internal meetings with project stakeholders, host conference calls and onsite visits with top-tier high-profile customers.
  
• Drive project kick-off activities: develop project plan documentation including statements of work, scheduling, identified risks, potential roadblock, objectives, milestones, interest parties, etc.
  
• Work with internal team members at each milestone to ensure project progress against defined targets and deadlines.
  
• Act as an escalation path for when milestones are not met, developing a recovery plan and seeing plan through.
  
• Clearly define project roles and responsibilities, clearly communicating expectancies and deliverables.
  
• Effectively communicate progress, issues, and plans forward with all interested parties.
  
• Build strong relationships and rapport with customers, partners, and internal team members.
  

About You:

• You have at least 2 - 3 years of project management experience within a manufacturing facility.
  
• Experience with circuitry/electronics and a working knowledge of Microsoft Project are preferred.
  
• Experience working in a 13485 medical device or AS9100 aerospace component manufacturing environment preferred.
  
• You have confidence in communicating proactively with customers and internal teams.
  
• You can rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  
• You are a self-assured and results oriented professional with an ownership mentality.
  
• You are a responsible, reliable employee who has a solid work ethic and drive to be an asset to the company.
  
• You are a team player, mature and handle difficult situations, people and conflict with poise, confidence and calmness.
