Project Manager

  Work on a variety of projects, from brackets for an NYC skyscraper to a component for a local farmer
• Collaborate with customers to craft solutions to their problems
• Serve as the liaison between the customer and the shop technicians, estimators, outside vendors, and the management team.
• Ensure that our work is delivered on time, on spec, and on budget every time
• Provide highly organized & superior customer service
• Navigate spreadsheets for pricing, customers, & vendors through ERP software
• Communicate with subcontractors
• Manage multiple projects and set priorities

BenCo Technology is growing and looking for two Project Managers who will take charge of projects and see them through to completion, ensuring that no detail gets overlooked and stays on budget. Our project managers are an essential link between our shop and our customers – a critical part of our success. We are willing to train candidates with a background as a Project Manager, Cost Estimator, Engineer, or Customer Service Rep in manufacturing, metal fabrication, laser cutting, or automotive bodywork.

Our Ideal Project Manager:

• Experience: 2 years of Project Management, Cost Estimator, or Engineer experience. Direct experience in a shop with sheet metal, metal fabrication, and/or manufacturing is a plus. High School Diploma is required. An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Collaborative: Experience working with customers, vendors, and other departments. Clear communicator.
• Organized: Able to work on multiple projects at the same time. Can determine priorities and focus on getting things done on time.
• Detail-Oriented: Keeps everyone involved in each project informed during each step of the process. You will have multiple projects happening simultaneously, so you'll develop methods that allow you to take care of all the essential details.
• Team Player: Humble, friendly, helpful, and hardworking.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office, Word, and Excel. Will be trained on ERP software.

What we offer our Project Manager:

• $20-25 p/h Depending on Experience
• Consistent work hours, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 5 pm (or 7 am - 4 pm) with OT available
