Recruiting Manager implements and manages processes to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods. Oversees an organization's recruiting program, policies, and procedures. Being a Recruiting Manager evaluates and communicates key metrics to recommend appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Reviews and approves content and placement of advertisements and job postings. Additionally, Recruiting Manager secures appropriate resources for staff to be successful. Maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. May be responsible for the recruitment process for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Recruiting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves designing and implementing overall recruiting strategies for the team, developing and updating job descriptions, and managing the entire recruitment process. The selected candidate will also be responsible for conducting interviews, assessing applicants' skills and aptitudes, and integrating new employees into the team.
Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications Conduct an analysis of job and task requirements Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, newspapers, colleges, etc. Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, etc. Screen candidates' resumes and job applications Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes Onboard new employees to fully integrate them into the team Monitor and implement HR recruiting best practices Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Requirements
Must have at least 3 years of experience as an IT Manager or a similar role in the IT industry. Demonstrated skills in Full Cycle Recruiting and Recruiting are essential. Experience in IT Sales and conducting Sales Calls is a vital requirement. Requires excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in using various IT management software and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. Ability to handle stressful situations and meet tight deadlines. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is required. Relevant certifications in IT management or related disciplines would be an added advantage. Must have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and operations. Should be able to create and implement IT policies and procedures to align with the company's goals. Experience in project management and overseeing IT-related projects. Ability to manage IT budgets and conduct cost-benefit analysis for IT upgrades and improvements. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
