Recruiting Supervisor supervises the activities of the employment department. Oversees a company's recruiting programs, policies, and procedures to develop and utilize various sources of potential applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Being a Recruiting Supervisor reviews and approves content and placement of job postings in newspapers, magazines, trade or professional journals, or online media. Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Additionally, Recruiting Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     The Opportunity

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our recruiting team as a Recruiting Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the recruiting team in various administrative tasks including drafting and posting job advertisements, light candidate sourcing, scheduling interviews, and providing general support to ensure the smooth functioning of the recruitment process. This individual will also be required to come into the office 2-3 times/ week as needed for various tasks.

    Your Primary Responsibilities

    The Recruiting Coordinator is typically responsible for:

    • Draft and post job advertisements on various job boards and platforms.
    • Assist recruiters in sourcing candidates through resume databases, social media platforms, and other channels.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates to provide necessary information and updates.
    • Support recruiters by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS) when needed. 
    • Assist in coordinating recruitment events, such as job fairs and other recruiting initiatives.
    • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team, including but not limited to managing calendars, organizing documents, and collecting documentation from hiring managers. 
    • Collaborate with onboarding coordinator and recruiters to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Requirement of traveling into office: 2-3 times per week 
    • Leading Orientation on a bi-weekly basis as needed

    • Willingness to take initiative and seek opportunities to improve processes or contribute innovative ideas.

     

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR, recruiting, or a similar field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook and or the Google equivalent.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and candidates.

     

    You might also have

    • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar HR software.
    • Familiarity with various recruitment tools and platforms for candidate sourcing.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Previous experience in a coordination or administrative role within recruiting or HR.
