Maintains relationships with and visits high schools, trade schools, colleges, job fairs, and related venues as part of recruiting efforts. Additionally, Recruiting Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Position Title: Director of Recruiting and Football Logistics

Responsibilities:
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics
Department is seeking a qualified Director of Recruiting and Football
Logistics. This position will report directly to the Chief of Staff for
Football. The Director of Recruiting and Football Logistics will also work
closely with Director of Player Personnel and Director of On-Campus Recruiting
while overseeing non-scholarship Student-Athletes, logistics for all Football
games, and camps.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Oversee all non-scholarship Student-Athletes
-Responsible for tryouts, recruiting, selection, and management of non-scholarship players.
-Evaluate and cultivate preferred non-scholarship players from PSA’s that did not sign NLI’s.
-Oversee and ensure NCAA compliance and institutional policy regarding non-scholarship players.
-Conduct and organize walk-on try outs each semester.
-Determine the maximum number of non-scholarship Student-Athletes allowed based on Title IX.
-Recommend to the head football coach non-scholarship Student-Athletes that should be rewarded with aid when available.
-Develop the talent level for non-scholarship Student-Athletes through scheduling of proper strength and conditioning workouts.
-Oversee and implementation of Logistics for all competitions, both home and away
-Coordinate with ticketing to ensure staff passes for home and away games.
-Ticket distribution for all staff as well as pass lists (guests) for road games.
-Coordinate with game day management on all events and timing.
Football Camps Director
-Oversee and manage all aspects of Football camps.
-Oversee and ensure NCAA compliance and institutional policy regarding football camps.
-Determine and request all camp dates and venues through continuing Ed.
-Manage and supervise all Football Camp Staff responsibilities.
-Market and promote football camps.
-Support the educational mission of the University and the professional obligation to enhance intercollegiate athletics by providing opportunities to educate students interested in this field.
-Provide broad based and specific experience to students through internship opportunities and student worker positions.
-Be committed to the compliance process and assist with rules education.
-Serve as an ambassador of the University and its Athletics Department to all public entities.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
One (1) year experience working in athletics at a college/university or comparable.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
-Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, public relations, interpersonal, customer service, and supervisory skills when working with student-athletes, faculty, staff, coaches, and administration.
-Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others; commitment to working with multi-cultural populations.
-Have strong work ethic and be a person of high integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and Institutional rules as they apply to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Athletics program.
