POSITION SUMMARY
The Supervisor of Compensation and Payroll Services is responsible for managing and mentoring Global Compensation and Payroll Specialists in order to ensure successful completion of client deliverables per service level agreements. This role is also responsible for measuring and monitoring client SLA performance and for performance of root cause analyses if deficiencies found and for overall setup / configuration of client and all process documentation.
Location: 100% Remote/Virtual in USA
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor will also carry.
40% Manage team members by directing the workload and approving the delivery of client services including
• Delivery of payroll instructions to client’s local payroll providers
• Delivery of compensation worksheets to client’s assignees prior to local deadlines
• Payroll receipt and reconciliation
• Global compensation accumulation
• Shadow payroll reporting
• Reports required by client and their tax provider for cost tracking and tax preparation Manage team members through mentoring, reviews, and salary administration
20% Subject matter expert for the team in expatriate payroll services for international assignments and related SIRVA systems.
20% Participate in implementation and system configuration during client implementations. Lead client operational meetings with local teams as required. Lead internal SIRVA meetings related to implementation as directed.
20% Answer client / team questions about system and procedures. Troubleshoot issues. Point of escalation and approval for team deliverables. Develops and documents procedures with team members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PEREFERRED SKILLS
• 6 years working in an international payroll, global mobility, or auditing role
• 6 years of leading team members to deliver client services
• In depth understanding of expatriate payroll administration
• Proven customer service focus and collaborative working style
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma required • Bachelor’s degree and/or global mobility or global payroll specialty designation preferred
